'Peaky Blinders' actor Paul Anderson reveals the reason for his appearance a month after being convicted of crack cocaine use and possession

Thousands of fans of actor Paul Anderson were shocked a few weeks ago when they saw a series of photographs on social networks of the artist looking worrying in the streets of the English capital. ''Those photos of Paul Anderson look awful. I hope he can find peace and leave that garbage,'' wrote a fan on X (formerly known as Twitter) about the actor's addiction to certain substances.

To calm the concern of the thousands and fans of followers he accumulates around the globe and show that he is not so bad, the artist has uploaded a publication to Instagram ''without filters'' in which he shows himself naturally.

''I feel blessed to be back in business! I just finished my final commitments for a play. I am really grateful to have been able to show a character that I have faith will surprise when this series comes out,'' the artist explained in the post.

''I also want to take some time to thank each and every one of you around the world for all the messages of love and support. I see you and appreciate you humbly and truly. Always remember that no one cares about the truth when lies are much more entertaining. I'm back, don't worry about that. Boycey,'' the artist said.

The publication has reassured the actor's fans, since the news of his arrest for possession and consumption of illicit substances generated an unprecedented atmosphere of mistrust and concern for him.

About two months ago, the actor was with a friend and a baby when police found the Class A drug (crack) and a pipe used to smoke it. Later, when he appeared in court in January, Anderson admitted possession of said substance, as well as admitting that he had class B amphetamines and two class C prescription substances. While Anderson only spoke at trial to plead guilty and confirm identity, his lawyer explained to the judge that he left an unfortunate situation: ''He is often recognized and does everything possible to please the fans of the show by getting into character (who uses drugs in the show)''.

Finally, the judge's verdict declared the Robin Hood or Legend actor guilty of four drug-related charges and fined him a total of £1,345 (more or less 1,573 euros).

Anderson's Instagram post has put an end to the gossip and theories on social networks that claimed that he had stopped working due to an addiction problem, and has also confirmed that his bad appearance in the viral photos was due to a strong flu that It has accompanied him the last few weeks.
