Elite returns for another year. The seventh season of the popular Netflix series will arrive on the streaming platform on October 20, including in its cast one of the most groundbreaking stars in the music industry.
Anitta, the most popular singer in Brazil and author of hits like 'Envolver' and 'Downtown', will debut as an actress by joining the cast of the Spanish series. In order to generate expectations, Netflix has published a very particular preview on its X account (formerly Twitter).
In the trailer, the singer is enjoying a shower when she is surprised by actor André Lamoglia, who plays Iván: "What's happening?" the artist asks, to which Iván responds: "Don't act surprised, you know this is Elite."
Referring to the scriptwriters' habit of murdering the series' protagonists, Anitta asks: "So you're going to kill me? Now?" The trailer already has more than 300 thousand views, and all kinds of comments.
Anitta is not the only star to join the cast. As Netflix has announced, Maribel Verdú, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Alejandro Albarracín and Mirela Balic will also appear in the new installment.
Likewise, the cast will once again feature the appearance of André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Álvaro de Juana, Carmen Arrufat, Álex Pastrana, Ana Bokesa, Ander Puig, Nadia Al Saidi and Omar Ayuso.
