Nacho Palau shares the consequences of his lung cancer: "My body was like a bag of bones, I felt totally dependent"

In an exclusive interview for the magazine 'Lecturas', Nacho Palau (50 years old) has openly shared the consequences he has experienced after undergoing treatment for lung cancer, which he was diagnosed with after his participation in the reality show 'Survivientes' .

The sculptor has confessed that, although he is very happy and in the process of recovering from the side effects of the treatment, he has experienced various consequences. "I lost a lot of weight, I got weak. I weighed 58 kilos and something," revealed Palau.

In addition, Palau described how it felt to have lung cancer: "When you get sick, your body weakens and you're left like a bag of bones. Without energy, I couldn't even climb stairs and I was short of breath." This situation made him dependent on the help of his environment: "Seeing myself so vulnerable, I became totally dependent," he said.

One of the most significant consequences for Nacho Palau was the loss of his voice, which he recently recovered. "I have recovered it two months ago. I am using only one vocal cord. They told me that I would not recover it. I could not cry or speak. It was horrible."

With these statements, Nacho Palau has shared the details of his experience during this difficult stage, which he has fortunately overcome. Last March, he announced on his social networks that he was cured and thanked him for the support and affection received. Now, little by little, he is regaining his strength and is excited to carry out new plans.

Miguel Bosé's ex-partner and finalist of 'Survivientes 2022' revealed in August 2022 that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer. Despite the harshness of the situation, she was optimistic and eager to live and overcome this disease.
