Marta Riesco, more sincere than ever about Antonio David: "He never loved me"

Marta Riesco has broken her silence about her controversial relationship with Antonio David Flores. The journalist and the former civil guard maintained a high-profile relationship for months. But their stormy love story came to an end on April 20 after a strong argument. The person in charge of making the breakup public was Marta Riesco herself with several very revealing messages through her social networks.

''I need time to assimilate what I have experienced in the last few hours. I never thought they would do something like this to me at the worst moment of my life. I hope you're happy, you've already gotten what you wanted, Rocío Flores,'' the former Telecinco reporter wrote.

From that moment on, the separation between the two attracted hundreds of headlines, in which there was speculation about the true reasons for their breakup. Now, with the beginning of a new year and when it seems that the wound is more than healed, the reporter wanted to open up about this whole matter on her social networks.

And one of the questions that was repeated most among his more than 190 thousand followers was whether he had already gotten over the whole Antonio David Flores affair. ''The issue is settled internally. What I needed to resolve was to realize that that person did not love me, nor did he ever love me. He showed it to me in the last actions he did. When the trial happened to me and seeing who I was surrounded by, who cared and who didn't, I think there is no greater proof that I was very wrong about him,' she declared.

''That made me realize that I shouldn't be sad for that person for another second, because he doesn't love me nor has he loved me like many people told me,'' he stressed. The journalist assured that when you are in love with someone you don't pay attention to things you don't want to see or hear.

''Unfortunately, there is a day when you start to realize and you start to see things that you didn't want to see before. I can say that I have internally overcome what happened (...) I overcame the breakup in the world in which I realized that the person I had fallen in love with was not there and had left me alone,' she asserted.

Despite having been a very hard blow, the journalist is grateful for having opened her eyes and having agreed with all those people who warned her at the time. ''I realized that I was the one who was wrong and not the rest of the world,'' she said. ''The reality is that when someone loves you and is in love, they are with you, when I don't love you and they are not in love, that is when they make excuses,'' she concluded.
