Marta López Álamo, very critical of the new 'Snow White' film: "It seems aberrational to me"

Marta López Álamo is living this summer in a very special way, since these months are being the first to be married, after the model and Kiko Matamoros walked down the aisle on June 2 in a massive ceremony held in Madrid.

Despite the hundreds of work commitments that the newlyweds have had, both have been able to make several getaways as part of their romantic honeymoon. The Italian coast, Mexico or Sri Lanka have been some of the destinations chosen by the couple to enjoy their first weeks as husband and wife.

But despite the idyllic moment they are experiencing, the couple has also been surrounded by controversy during these weeks. The latest, the controversial statements of the model about her job search or the peculiar collaboration that both starred in social networks, where they appeared undergoing intravenous treatment to receive serum from a drip.

Even so, the couple is enjoying the summer to the fullest and between getaways they do not hesitate to interact with all their followers on social networks, to tell them news about their lives or simply to give their opinion on certain current issues. This is what her model was doing recently on her TikTok profile, where she wanted to post a video talking about the controversy surrounding the new Snow White movie.

Snow White is one of the most popular and acclaimed Disney classics of all time. A mythical story from the year 1937, which has passed from generation to generation. But even so, Disney is immersed in bringing back many of these characters with their long-awaited live-action. These new versions of the company's classics are nothing new, since for several years many of these characters have returned to the big screen with their particular live action remakes.

One of the last to be announced has been that of Snow White. This new film will star Colombian-born actress Rachel Zegler, who has been the target of a great deal of criticism for not having cast a "white" actress. In addition, the latest statements by the interpreter about the changes in history have further fueled the fire.

On this matter, Marta López Álamo wanted to express her opinion on her social networks. Although the model assured that she loved the actress and that she was in favor of her starring in this live-action, Kiko Matamoros's wife has been against changing the story of the original version.

"We can't reinvent history, because then it's not Snow White, it's another movie," he declared. ''If you're going to make a remake of a 1937 movie, don't judge who made that movie because that person doesn't have the mentality that we have now,'' he confessed. "For me, the censorship of all kinds of plays, books or old stories because they do not conform to the current mentality, because they are different from what is thought now seems aberrational to me," he asserted.
