Mariló Montero denounces that "a very famous uncle" "handed him last week in front of his wife"

Mariló Montero has become one of the undisputed protagonists of the week due to her victory in court against journalists and paparazzi Gustavo González and Diego Arrabal, who have been sentenced to ten months in prison and a 1,400-euro fine for trying to profit from some photos of the journalist topless.

However, the name of the communicator has begun to make more headlines after this morning she publicly denounced during one of her interventions in Espejo Público that she has been the victim of a situation of abuse at an event she attended last week.

The presenter was commenting on the Antena 3 program presented by Susanna Griso on the statements of the actress Ayanta Barilli about the alleged harassment she suffered at the hands of the now deceased actor Juan Luis Galiardo when she decided to open up and share a recent story that she suffered in first person.

''A week ago a very famous man touched my ass. We were at a public event and with his girlfriend. What I do? Shall I give him a damn? At that moment I thought what could be wrong,'' Mariló began explaining, visibly affected.

''I thought they were a very famous couple at a public event and one that could get involved in the media. In private he would have acted differently. "She would have given him a host in the whole mouth," said Carlos Herrera's ex-wife while her program colleagues looked at her in astonishment.

Although he did not react at the time, Montero has made it clear that after a few days he contacted part of the alleged abuser's entourage and that he found reactions of little surprise. Furthermore, the presenter has pointed out that this is a very serious and delicate issue: ''It is not easy to report something like this (...) You leave money and you have to prove something very difficult.''

Montero's statements come at a critical moment in our country, since hundreds of women are uniting against the culture of power abuse and are denouncing different situations that they have suffered for decades in different industries such as cinema, art or television.

Mariló Montero's testimony is nothing more than a drop in the sea of cases that, unfortunately, occur every day in our country and around the world. However, the fact that the presenter publicly denounces it on a national television show is a great step for the visibility of the cause and for teaching many girls that they do not have to put up with this type of sexist attitudes.
