Lara Álvarez confesses that she has frozen her eggs: "To take the pressure off of being a mother"

Millions of viewers in their homes were stunned to learn that the very nice Lara Álvarez was not returning to Survivors after more than 8 years at the helm of the contest from the Cayos Cochinos.

Although she acknowledged that she was very sorry to leave the team with which she had shared so many good moments, the Asturian acknowledged that she was "very excited" about the new challenges she was going to face and that she was looking forward to what his professional life in Spain would bring him.

A little over a month ago, it was announced that Mediaset had bought the rights to the Me Resbala program and that the humor show will soon be on Telecinco's television schedule by Lara Álvarez.

Happy for everything that is to come, Fernando Alonso's ex has given a very personal interview to the heart magazine Lecturas in which she has opened up on the channel and has confessed some of her most intimate secrets.

The presenter has affirmed to the tabloid media that she is "in the best moment of her life" and that she believes that she made the right decision to put an end to her stage presenting Survivors, although she continues to love the format. ''Eight years is a long time. My life has changed in all aspects,'' expressed the journalist, acknowledging that she is very grateful to the network, but that the survival reality prevented her from participating in other big projects.

Happy to be able to see her parents and their dogs more often and happy to have been able to celebrate her birthday with her family, Álvarez has recognized that her priorities have changed and that in Me Resbala you will be able to see a new version of her, more relaxed and funny: ''I come very restrained from a very measured format. Here I release atrocities''.

The interview also touched on more personal issues. Álvarez has reflected on love and the sacrifice that it implies: "I understand more and more what it is to love in a real way, because of the involvement that it entails in me, attention, empathy...". Despite her love disappointments, the communicator believes in love more and more every day.

"I just turned 37 and motherhood is something that I value more every day in my life," the presenter replied when asked in the interview why she froze her eggs a few years ago. Although she doesn't see herself as a mother at present, Álvarez wants to make sure she doesn't ''take away'' the possibility because of the biological clock.

The journalist has also acknowledged that she is not going to therapy right now, but that when she needed psychological assistance she did not hesitate to go to a professional, who gave her some very good tools that have helped her a lot in her day-to-day life.
