Lady Di's twin nieces pose together at the Lola Casademunt fashion show

Eliza and Amelia Spencer, nieces of Princess Diana of Wales, appeared by surprise at the Lola Casademunt by Maite fashion show, the show that closed Saturday's day of the 79th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The twins are recognized for their great passion for fashion and are regular faces at Fashion Weeks, even walking the runway last year in London for British designer Josh Birch Jones.

Upon their arrival at Ifema pavilion 14 on the afternoon of Saturday the 17th, the cameras quickly focused on their slender figures. Both share a practically identical and very identifiable beauty, as well as a style that, as they confessed to Vanitatis, is inspired by their paternal aunt.

Amelia and Eliza sat and posed in the front row as guests dressed in combined looks from the brand Lola Casademunt by Maite. Amelia wore a loose-fitting tweed jacket in black and white combined with shorts and a nude turtleneck. Eliza debuted a shirt with a tie made of a shiny fabric with a metallic finish and high-cut tweed pants.

Two outfits that responded to the trend seen on the catwalk, the artistcrat-chic style, which dates back to the British golden age. This was the starting point of the creative director, Maite Casademunt, for her autumn-winter 2024 collection. “We wanted to merge the classic with the current. It is a collection full of contrasts in which we find very fluid and unstructured garments along with more structured patterns,” explained the designer.

In addition to having the Spencer twins in the front row, the parade was attended by well-known faces such as Inés Sastre, Antonio dell'Atte, Reyes Maroto, Elsa Anka, Carme Barceló, Andrea Guasch or influencers such as Marta Sierra, among others.
