Lady Di's bomber jacket is a trend: five unisex versions for this spring

The figure of Lady Di has influenced all aspects of fashion, from luxury for her label choices to streetstyle brands for her daily wardrobe. Alluding to her is recurrent on the catwalks and also in the shop windows. Zara, without going any further, launched a campaign last week inspired by some images of her on a yacht dressed in a neon swimsuit.

On the networks, from time to time, an archive image of the late Princess of Wales appears on a trend account and causes a wave of images from Internet users who are inspired by her style or a specific garment. This season, everyone is aiming for their sporty bomber.

The year was 1991. Spotted on the streets of London, Lady Di took Prince Harry to Wetherby School as usual and did so with the most sporty style. An oversized Philadelphia Eagles jacket covered a set of basics.

Although the garment has never stopped being a trend, the bomber - also known as a biker - gains more strength this spring as it is considered a unisex and all-terrain piece. Combinable with more formal looks but also everyday, the piece goes with jeans, leggings or even, as Lady Di already showed in the nineties, with a midi skirt and tight tights. From the office to a family date.

There are all possible shapes and colors on the market. There are identical ones to Lady Di's, like the one proposed by Cider, but also in a more military version like those that can be found on Amazon and El Corte Inglés or even in leather.
