'La Voz Kids 9' signs Lola Índigo, recovers Melendi and says goodbye to Aitana and Sebastián Yatra

This Saturday, July 8, the grand finale of the eighth edition of La Voz Kids, the most famous children's music contest on television in Spain, is celebrated. Although the current season has yet to finish and proclaim one of the eight finalists as the winner, the Antena 3 network has already publicly announced who will be the coaches of the next edition of the program.

Lola Índigo, Melendi, David Bisbal and Rosario Flores will be in charge of directing the children in the musical competition that will start in 2024. The decision of the communication group has been a great surprise, since they recover one of the veteran coaches, Melendi , and they sign Lola Índigo, who has previously participated as an advisor to Sebastián Yatra on La Voz Kids 7 and Luis Fonsi on La Voz 9.

The former contestant of Operación Triunfo 2017 reacted to the news on her official Twitter account and assured that she was very excited and happy to be part of the family of the singing program: ''It makes me very happy to be this year as a coach in La Voz Kids. Those of you who know me know the illusion that makes me and the vocation that I have with the kids. I'm going to die of love, thanks for the opportunity''.

For his part, the singer of Tu Jardín con enanitos, Caminando por la vida and Lágrimas desordenadas has not yet ruled on his return to the Atresmedia format, although many of his followers have celebrated it in a capital way with dozens of messages on the networks social.

Despite the fact that many fans of the format are happy about the arrival of the new coaches, many have been surprised by the absence of Aitana Ocaña and Sebastián Yatra in the next edition.

Although neither of the two artists has given explanations yet, everything seems to point to their schedules being too tight to participate in the next season of the Antena 3 music program.

Next Saturday the grand finale of La Voz Kids 8 will be broadcast in which eight contestants will do their best to try to win over Spain and take over from Pol Calvo, the winner of the seventh edition.

The list of finalists for the eighth season of the musical talent is made up of: Adrián and Lucía (David Bisbal team) Álvaro and Manuela (Aitana team), Rubén Franco and Béty (Sebastián Yatra team), and Zhanel and Amanda (Rosario Flores team) .
