Kiko Rivera confesses that there was a time in his life when he wanted to be a priest: "Imagine my mother's face when I told her"

Kiko Rivera has been the last guest on one of RTVE's big bets this summer, Let's Get Along, a relaxed interview program led by the couple formed by Manuel Díaz and Laura Sánchez.

During the interview, the son of Isabel Pantoja has not shied away from any topic and has spoken openly about elements of his private life and even his childhood. In fact, one of the confessions that has gone viral on networks has to do with the infant Kiko Rivera.

As DJ himself explained, during a time in his childhood he had the idea of consecrating his life to God and becoming a priest. All this as a result of noticing his religion teacher at school.

The son of the tonadillera studied at a Catholic school in Madrid. There, the young man began to notice his religion teacher, who was a priest, because of the way he dressed: "He was a very modern priest who wore his torn jeans," he recounted.

From that moment on, when Kiko was 11 or 12 years old, the priest and he established a good friendship: "I grew so fond of him, a kind of love for him, that I wanted to be like him", he explained in Let's take away good.

For this reason, one day, when he got home, he stood before his mother and said: "Mom, I want to be a priest, I want to consecrate my life to God." Finally, weeks later, Kiko himself dismissed this idea when he discovered the sacrifices that this type of life entails.
