Jaime Peñafiel is possibly one of the most recognized journalists in the world of the heart. For most of his life, he has positioned himself as one of the most knowledgeable people in the ins and outs of the Royal House, always reporting clearly if something out of the ordinary occurs within the walls of the Zarzuela. Now the man from Granada is not inconsiderable at the age of 91, and he does so by revealing some curious insides.
Peñafiel has been able to talk about his daily habits with his colleagues from 'Cuatro al día', who have congratulated him effusively on his special day. During the program, the journalist has told details for the first time that have surprised more than one, starting with the regularity of his usual routine. “I live in Ciudad Universitaria, after eating we go to the Puerta de Alcalá, there I have two or three coffees. Then I go through the entire Gran Vía, Calle Princesa and through Ciudad Universitaria... I walk just 10 kilometers, ”he commented.
The expert in real news has clarified that in this way he manages to maintain a good state of health despite the already huge 91 years that he has just turned. However, another point of his daily routine is the one that has raised the most opinions: his sexual life. “The thing about making love is later, at night. My secret is that I eat once every 24 hours, I walk ten kilometers every day, I work a lot and I make love every day, ”he revealed without ruffling his hair.
Beyond these statements, the rest of the team has fully participated in the celebration of his birthday. Several collaborators and colleagues of Peñafiel have called the set of 'Four a day' to congratulate him and share part of his joy with him. The journalist has sincerely appreciated these expressions of affection, especially considering the number he reaches: "Thank you very much for remembering me, being in the 90s is very delicate."
Along with all these congratulations, the program has also wanted to investigate his role as an expert in the Royal House and his family. In fact, one of the questions of his partner, Marta Flich, has found an answer in that way. Regarding the question of what would be a piece of news that he has not yet given but that he would like to report, Peñafiel has been very clear. He has pointed to a possible return of King Emeritus Juan Carlos to Spain.
Another part of the interview focused on his wife, Carmen Alonso, to whom he has been married since 1984. “She is an extraordinary woman, always by my side, through thick and thin, through thick and thin. And by dressing as a bride, she shows that she is still in love with a ninety-year-old man. I am very lucky that she is by my side.
