Jacobo Ostos, son of Jaime Ostos: ''The one who put the money at home was my mother''

The media war between Mari Ángeles Grajal and Jaime Ostos' children continues to be one of the most controversial topics today. The couple married three times. The first of them in 1987 for civil matters. Three years later and after several scandals, they both divorced. But just two years later they would both walk down the aisle again in the presence of their eight-year-old son. The third and last ceremony would be carried out in July 2014 by the church, and with the presence of very few family members.

Since the bullfighter's death in January 2022, the two sides of the family have been further apart than ever, due to Jaime Ostos' inheritance. But if all this were not enough, a few days ago new information came to light that was going to give a 180 degree turn to the tense situation between both parties.

The journalist Paloma García-Pelayo revealed in the Y Ahora Sonsoles program that the bullfighter and the doctor never got married in the church in 2014. Hours later, Mari Ángeles Grajal herself confirmed the information, detailing that she could not get married. out because they were missing a piece of paper. A day later, journalist Pilar Vidal assured that "Jaime Ostos was still legally alive and that María Ángeles Grajal was not his widow." According to the journalist, the doctor could not be the bullfighter's widow, since she and Ostos never legalized their situation after divorcing in 1991.

This same Monday, Jacobo Ostos decided to go to the Antena 3 program to clarify all this information. The son of Mari Ángeles Grajal and Jaime Ostos confessed that the cape of discord existed and was in the possession of his mother. Regarding the controversial cremation of his father, the guest assured that ''his father was cremated per covid protocol. ''My mother did what she was told at the embassy,'' he said. Furthermore, he explained that his brother never went to Bogotá, nor to the funeral held in Spain.

Regarding the controversies with money, Jacobo Ostos declared that his father was only rich when he was married to Consuelo Alcalá, but once they divorced he left all his assets behind. ''My father married my mother, both of us in love, but the one who put the money in that house is called Dr. Mari Ángeles Grajal,'' he asserted.

Regarding the wedding dance, Jaime Ostos' son confirmed live that his parents were civilly married, as demonstrated by the family book that he had shared with the Antena 3 program. ''My father is legally registered as deceased, and my mother is legally widowed,'' he stated.
