Isabel Pantoja settles her debt with Loli 'la kiosquera' after ten years of lawsuits

Isabel Pantoja is once again one of the great protagonists of the current press in the heart of the country. The tonadillera has been away from the media spotlight for months, but despite her resounding silence about all the speculation and information that is coming to light regarding her state of health, the singer's lawsuits continue to be at the command of the day.

This Tuesday, the director of Lecturas magazine, Luis Pliego, announced on Ana Rosa Quintana's program the great exclusive that will be on the cover of the new edition of the magazine. And as she revealed, the singer would have finally settled her debt to Loli, the newsstand owner, after more than ten years involved in a media and judicial war.

Let us remember that the tonadillera and Dolores del Pozo, better known as Loli, had known each other since 1986. But their problems began in 2014, when Loli lent 86,000 euros (her life savings) to the tonadillera so that she could avoid entering prison due to the high-profile Operation Malaya case in which she was involved.

After lending her the money, the artist refused to settle the entire debt with Loli, so she had to go to court to get the singer to return the money that was hers. A decade later, Isabel Pantoja had only returned 10,000 euros, so there were still 76,000 euros owed.

But the good news began to arrive a few months ago, when it came to light that both parties had reached an agreement to avoid the trial. There were two conciliation acts prior to the trial, where the singer did not want to appear. Therefore, the only solution left was for the tonadillera to agree to pay the debt in full.

Now, after years of struggle and suffering, it seems that Loli, the newsstand owner, has finally recovered the money she lent the singer and that she had publicly asked for so many times. And as Lecturas magazine has learned exclusively, Isabel Pantoja would have paid the 76,000 euros in full. ''It is a shameful debt. A debt of 86,000 euros to avoid going to jail. The singer asked everyone to raise the money,'' confessed Luis Pliego in TardeAR.
