Iñaki López scare: he almost fell into the estuary in his connection with the barge

It took forty years for Bilbao to once again celebrate in style when Athletic Club won the title of Cup champion. Therefore, it is not surprising that more than a million people gathered on the sidelines from the city estuary to carry out the traditional barge.

A fact that has left images for history and to which numerous media outlets have come to cover it. And as a good Basque football lover, Iñaki López has not hesitated to leave his position as presenter on the Más Vale Tarde program to experience the moment first-hand. Still, it almost ended in tragedy.

There were several connections that the presenter made last Thursday with the set of the program where he works and with others, such as Zapeando. And it was just at the moment when the connection was with both programs, when he went too high and was about to fall into the water.

The presenter was wondering if the boats that sailed through the place had chemical toilets inside, when he wanted to greet the people present. "Whoa, kids!" He shouted just at the moment when he stumbled and almost fell into the estuary: "Whoa, be careful, be careful." A moment when he brought a smile to his program partner Cristina Pardo.

After this fun and eventful event, the presenter wanted to put on the table the Basque accent that Iñaki had been developing since he was in Bilbao. "I just hope that tomorrow, when Iñaki returns here, he has recovered his accent by appearing on a national program, because my goodness," she said from the set.

And between the scare and the possible accident, the Basque also had time to crack the occasional joke. "We have seen Iñaki Urrutia floating on a truck wheel, how did you send him?" He joked live.

And, although he was giving his all cheering on his team, he has also had time to comment on one of the controversies that is being talked about the most these days: the signing of Broncano by RTVE. And, if the hundreds of comments that he has generated on social networks were not few, Iñaki López has joined them.

"The one about really important and urgent things that can be done with 28 million euros of public money," he wrote on his X (Twitter) accounts, further fueling the issue. And there have been many who have supported his opinion, but many others have opposed him.
