Four changes of look, shine and transparencies: Javis and Ana Belén sweep the Goya

Ana Belén and the Javis, the presenters of the Goya Awards gala, have known how to present, act and communicate through their costumes like very few have done before. The costume changes have followed their own narrative, a very disruptive one, which has captivated the public in the room and the viewers at home.

Upon their arrival on the magenta carpet, both Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi were dressed in black with suits by Palomo Spain, a transgressive Spanish designer who is committed to fluid gender and genderless fashion, a choice very in line with the Javis message. They combined it with Louboutin shoes and Suárez jewelry.

Ana Belén looked like she stepped out of a Disney story with a strapless dress and large skirt from Redondo Brand. For the jewelry she trusted Damiani and her shoes were from Lodi. A classic aesthetic that she defended with elegance and that she finished with a plea to remember the tragedy that is being experienced in Gaza.

To begin the ceremony they explained what their dream gala was like, sitting on a sofa and dressed in two lingerie outfits, Calvo in black and Ambrossi in red, both satin. That's when Ana Belén appeared, dressed in a voluminous design in Klein blue, classic and elegant, as if she were a storybook princess and they were her fairy godmothers.

The music plays and the Javis 'free themselves' from their dressing gowns to show their authentic identity, one that does not respond to the dress codes that a heterosexual man should supposedly follow. But the directors, scriptwriters and now presenters dress in corsets, glitter, transparencies and lace.

During the performance of Ana Belén and her girl ye-ye, the 72-year-old singer, actress and director also avoids formalities and puts on a black jumpsuit to dance and offer an artistic and elegant show. The Javis appear again on stage with two pop superstar outfits, full of glitter and a transparent top.

To end their big night, Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi paid tribute to the film 'All About My Mother' on its 25th anniversary. A very emotional moment in which they have been accompanied by great actresses and Pedro Almodóvar and where, once again, they have delighted the public with a new costume change.

To close the gala, they dressed in black and white, with semi-transparent blouses, Ambrossi in white and Calvo in delicate black lace. What could be a perfect apology between yin and yang, two opposite forces that attract each other but are absolutely complementary.
