Debts drown Isabel Pantoja: she has to continue singing despite her serious health problems

Isabel Pantoja will say goodbye to 2023 with a massive concert in Barcelona. The tonadillera will take to the stage again this coming December 30 to delight her followers with a very special concert at the Palau Sant Jordi after almost seven years without performing in Barcelona.

The expectation for the concert is maximum and all eyes will be on the singer, since it will be her reappearance before the cameras for several months away from the media spotlight due to health problems. But the tonadillera can be very happy with the ticket sales, since of the almost 18,000 attendees that the Palau Sant Jordi has, the artist has already managed to sell more than 13,000 tickets.

The high ticket prices are not being an impediment for their followers, who want to see their favorite artist on stage again. Furthermore, the tonadillera would have billed a figure that would be around 80,000 euros with the VIP tickets alone. This good pace in ticket sales is coming as a relief to the singer who has to face various financial problems.

One of the last debts that the tonadillera settled was with Loli, the newsagent. Dolores del Pozo lent her a total of 86,000 euros a decade ago so that she could avoid going to prison. But ten years later, the tonadillera had refused to pay off her debt until a few days ago, when it was finally confirmed that Loli had recovered the money that belonged to her.

But her family problems and the remaining debts she still has outstanding are taking their toll on the singer's health, and she even decided to ask professionals for help. And even though she is not fully recovered, the singer must continue performing her scheduled concerts.

This Thursday, journalist Paloma García-Pelayo revealed on the Sonsoles Ónega program what exactly Isabel Pantoja's problem was. ''She is fine because she is taking care of herself and controlling herself. But it is true that for a few months now he has had some problems that he is taking care of and less than 10 days ago he put himself in the hands of a specialist (...) He initially had a vision problem that he has been correcting, but then more arose problems that compromised not only his health, but also his work. "She is being treated in Córdoba with a very close person," she revealed.

But the collaborator also said that the singer's financial situation was not good at all. ''She has been carrying a debt with the Treasury for a year, with a previous payment schedule that she committed to and did not comply with and now they have demanded it again (...) Everything she earns for the next concerts will have to be put in front of her Treasury because it gave him the ultimatum,'' the journalist revealed.
