Cándido Conde-Pumpido is preparing a complaint against the woman who accuses him of sexual assault: ''She loses her mind with screams and screams''

Cándido Conde-Pumpido Varela has become one of the most mediatic faces in recent hours. This past weekend the news broke that the son of the president of the Constitutional Court had been arrested this past Friday for an alleged group sexual assault committed together with two other individuals at his home in the Madrid capital.

According to the version given by the complainant, Conde-Pumpido and the two friends who had hired her services forced her to perform sexual practices without her consent. After the events, she went to the hospital and had a DNA test performed.

For this reason, the Prosecutor's Office requested that a restraining order be placed, but the judge in charge of the case rejected the request because the evidence presented from the home's security camera contradicted the young woman's version. After his release, lawyer Ricardo Álvarez confirmed to EuropaPress that he was preparing a complaint against the complainant for the alleged commission of a crime of false reporting.

Furthermore, this same afternoon, Cándido Conde-Pumpido's lawyer went live on the Sonsoles Ónega program to give his client's latest news and tell his version of the events. ''The images reveal that the girl was there, that Cándido was rested, the girl does not stop talking. "Cándido calls a trusted person to take the girl because he doesn't want her to continue there," the lawyer began.

''The girl doesn't leave and since she doesn't leave, Cándido ends up accompanying her to order a taxi. She refuses and tells him to take her himself. Cándido refuses and closes the door to her house. She loses her mind, starts banging on the door and yelling and screaming, threatening and screaming that she wanted to come in. So she calls the police and says he raped her,' she declared.

The lawyer confessed that her client and she met a few days before and "had no prior relationship." ''It seems that she did not have relations with him of any kind that day, and if she had previous relations, she herself declared that they had been consensual,'' he claimed. Furthermore, he explained that the woman thought that she could have a romantic relationship with her client, but the well-known lawyer was seeing, just as he assured her close circle that "she was being very insistent."
