Christian Gálvez buys the 'Socialité' program

It was announced last December, but it is now official: Socialité, the entertainment and social chronicle program that María Verdoy presents on weekends on Telecinco during midday, changes production company. From now on, the format will be in the hands of Fénix Media Audiovisual, Christian Gálvez's production company.

The "transfer" of the program occurs after the breakdown of relations between La Fábrica de la Tele, formerly responsible for the format, and Mediaset España, announced in November 2023; although the group bought its shares completely a few weeks ago.

Thus, the production company led by Christian Gálvez will officially be responsible for producing the Telecinco show. From what is known, recording will continue on the current set, with the same equipment and with María Verdoy as host of the format; The broadcast on March 16 will be the first by Fénix Media.

As Bluper learned in December, La Fábrica de la Tele was not aware of the production company that was going to take charge of the program until minutes before it was made public. The contract between Adrián Madrid's former production company and Óscar Cornejo ended on December 31, leaving the future of the program and its presenters, María Patiño and Núria Marín, up in the air.

The beginning of Socialité was not very promising, as the change of presenter did not sit well with the format, taking it to a season low in ratings. María Verdoy made her debut on January 6 at the head of the program, but the public did not accompany her.

On her first day as official presenter of the format, María Verdoy sent a message to her former colleagues, whom she wanted to thank for their work during all those years and for having "taken care of" the program with so much affection.

"A set that María Patiño and Nuria Marín have taken care of and in what way. I want to send you a kiss, colleagues, because truly, thank you for having left a unique legacy, so beautiful and so authentic. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. And also thanks to a team that is and will be the soul of Socialité".
