Carmen Otte's decisive decision regarding the future with the bullfighter Juan Ortega

It could have been their first Christmas as a newly married couple, but instead, Carmen Otte and Juan Ortega will live them separately and each with their families. Their failed wedding after the bullfighter's in-extremis sit-in with his girlfriend is still causing a lot of talk and, almost two weeks after the day of the alleged marriage, their situation is very different.

Juan Ortega continues in Seville, although he has been seen in different parts of the country, apparently reflecting on what happened in solitude; Carmen Otte, for her part, takes refuge in Jerez with her family, who have shielded themselves with her. The cardiologist is "sunken" after what happened, but she has already begun to take the first steps to distance herself from the right-hander forever.

Despite the information that pointed to an alleged resumption of contact and the hope of a possible reconciliation of the couple, it seems that there will be no second chance. The Sevillian bullfighter managed to talk to his ex-girlfriend after several failed attempts, but the current relationship between the two is basically non-existent despite the fact that Ortega wants to get his partner back.

According to the newspaper El Español, the woman from Cádiz would have begun to take the first steps to distance herself even further if possible from the man with whom she spent a decade. The cardiologist continues trying to assimilate what happened, but she would like to get back to her routine as soon as possible. For this reason, she would have begun to remove her belongings from the apartment they both shared in Seville, where they lived for rent, in an attempt to "make a clean slate."

The right-hander, for the moment, must focus on his return to the bullring, scheduled for February 2024, where he will reappear in style at the San Blas Fair and the Candelaria de Valdemorillo. An event in which he will surely attract all attention, but in which he will not give details of any kind about what happened in his private life.

Since the beginning of all this controversy, both have wanted to make it very clear that they are not public figures nor do they want to be. The last one to appear before the media, visibly nervous and outraged by the media harassment, was Miguel Ángel Otte, who is being the most persecuted in recent days as he is the one identified as partially "guilty" of Ortega's change of heart at the last minute.

Seeing her father in the media is something that especially hurts Carmen Otte, who does not understand why he is harassed by the press in the streets of Jerez as if he were a popular character. For this reason, he would have already requested legal advice and left the matter with a lawyer known to the Otte family. "Nothing is as it is told," she says.
