Carlos Lozano had been away from the media spotlight for a long time. However, his incendiary interview on the set of Friday! A few weeks ago he put it back on the map. The presenter did not mince his words when it came to giving his opinion on the difficult moment, in terms of audience, that Mediaset is going through.
"The fault is not with the presenters, but with the Content Directors, who have to be updated, but there are some who spend their entire lives there until they retire while there are young people with wonderful ideas," he stated in the face of reproaches from some of those present.
And although he has not returned to the small screen since then, Carlos Lozano has reappeared at the Contemporary Art Fair, ARCO, and has not hesitated to speak for the Europa Press microphones. Among other things, he wanted to express how proud he feels of his daughter Luna, the result of her relationship with Mónica Hoyos.
"My daughter has one year left in her studies and she is working with the European Community," he stated. Likewise, he wanted to make it clear that he is "very happy" because she is a "humble", "very nice" and "very studious" person.
And with his statements he has confessed that it is likely that Luna will go on television in a few years. The presenter has stated that even though she says no when asked by the press, "she comes from her parents and of course she is interested in TV, but later."
But if there is one thing he wanted to make clear, it is that he wants the best for his "girl." Although she has already accepted that she has had and will have partners, she wanted to send them a warning. "If he is shameless, I'll break his face, it's clearer than water. You don't play with me," she said, laughing.
"She is very special, when she sees a kid who is not on the right path and who doesn't like it, she kills him and bye, another one," he added, stating that his daughter makes very good decisions in this matter. But, leaving Luna aside, the presenter has not hesitated to also talk about her private life. "I'm more alone than one, I've been three years, six months, 40 days and three hours without making love... I'm still the same. I have it calculated, but I don't care," he confessed.
Even so, he has admitted that he believes that love "is neither sought nor expected" and that it will come at some point: "Fuck love." And, despite everything, he has stated that he is "very happy" with the life that he has managed to build over the years.
