Belén Esteban reveals the most precious anecdote about María Teresa Campos at her wedding

The death of María Teresa Campos left an important void in the world of communication in Spain. The long-standing radio and television presenter died on September 5 in Madrid, leaving behind a career of more than 50 years, in which she ended up being known as the Queen of the Mornings. Many of her have been the ones who have spoken at length about her co-worker throughout the month, including Belén Esteban.

The well-known collaborator of Sálvame was present at the funeral held this past Monday in Malaga, accompanying her daughters Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego in the final farewell to the renowned figure. During one of his interventions before the press, Esteban remembered the presenter, highlighting the mutual love that existed between both families. Likewise, he recalled one of her most beloved anecdotes, one that took place on the day of her wedding to Miguel Marcos, on June 22, 2019.

“I couldn't be there when he died because I was away, but I had to be there today. I have loved her very much and I know that she has loved me too, and she has loved my family, which is the most important thing for me,” Belén highlighted before the media microphones. In memory of her nuptials, she indicated the detail that she had to be present at the celebration, despite costing her “a lot of work,” in her words. When asked about possible anecdotes, the collaborator has a very clear one.

As she published on social networks, María Teresa Campos was the first person to give her an opportunity in the media through an interview. Likewise, she was one of the guests at her wedding, despite not having the best moment. Belén highlights that she keeps a photograph of that day with the presenter in her home, an image that has never been made public. “I will always have her in my memory,” clarified the television figure.

A Belén Esteban who has been relatively busy in recent months. In addition to closely following the progress of his food company, Sabores de la Esteban, he has been filming the spiritual successor to Sálvame in the United States and Mexico, of which he was able to give new details on his recent return to Spain. Among other relevant information, the Madrid communicator was the first to publicly reveal the official title of the documentary series.

“It's titled Sálvese donde puede, it premieres in October and it's pure fantasy. We have been filming in Miami and Mexico, the experience has been wonderful, there has been everything. I have not seen it edited because they do not want us to see it, but I know what we have experienced and I encourage people to see it. They don't let me say anything. Only that at the premiere you are going to be amazed and that it premieres in October,” he expressed, in addition to detailing that he had more new projects under his arm.
