The Summer Grand Prix continues unstoppable on its return to Spanish Television. The contest presented by Ramón García made its triumphant return two weeks ago to La 1, and after two installments it has not lost steam. This past Monday's program managed to keep the premiere numbers up, achieving an incredible 24.9% audience share and 2,251,000 viewers on average. And for the moment, Alfacar and Yepes await rivals in the semifinals.
This coming Monday, starting at 10:35 p.m., the third installment of the new edition of the Grand Prix will be broadcast, with two new towns willing to give up everything to try to reach the grand final. On this occasion, it is the turn of Cervelló (Barcelona) and Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia) to go through the Radio Televisión Española studio, with the company of their usual collaborators and having in front of them new tests to face.
The Catalan and Castilian-Leonese towns will participate in multiple tests to decide who occupies the next victorious spot on the program scoreboard. And they will do it by launching a new game: Hamsters on the run. It is an entertaining and elaborate gymcana in which the dinosaur Niko will be involved. In the same way, there will be slight changes in some of the already known phases that will alter the perception of the spectators.
Cristinini will be in charge of announcing both the new test and Jurassic Prix, the other obstacle course sponsored by the competition's mascot. Precisely speaking of the godparents, in this third program those in charge of representing Cervelló and Aguilar de Campoo will be Xuso Jones and Ana Morgade, respectively. They will be in good company with Michelle Calvó, godmother of the towns, and the unpredictable acrobat Wilbur.
After this third installment, there will only be two more contenders to enter the path: Los Montesinos from Alicante and Tineo in Asturias. In this way they will complete the table of eight participating towns, of which half will be eliminated according to their score. Once the first four rounds have been completed, there will be two semifinals and a grand final, where the heir to Renedo de Esgueva will be crowned in the regional version and Carrión de los Condes on RTVE.

Once the administrations were reviewed, the Televisión Española team found some rejections at the table, from the new mayors. Something that forced changes.
