Bad Gyal's fine statement about the controversial twerking with Rauw Alejandro: "I do not agree"

Bad Gyal and Rauw Alejandro have become the stars of the week due to a video that has been circulating on social networks for a couple of days. In the audiovisual piece you can see the artists performing last weekend in Puerto Rico. Rosalía's ex decided to invite the Catalan to one of the concerts on the Saturno tour and give her audience a joint performance.

Everything was going very well until the singer of Baby Hello, The Effect, Ron Cola and Todo de ti tried to twerk with his partner in the middle of the concert. The singer's refusal went viral within a few minutes, since it could be clearly seen that she was not comfortable with the situation. ''I wanted to twerk with Bad Gyal, but she was kind of shy,'' the Puerto Rican expressed through the microphone. Faced with such words, Alba Farelo responded forcefully: ''I'm going to do what I have to do, which is sing.''

The situation became the most discussed topic on social networks and millions of people around the world accused Rauw Alejandro of putting the Catalan woman in a bind. Days after the event, the Spanish singer wanted to give her honest opinion of herself and issued a statement through a story that she uploaded to her Instagram account.

"I want to clarify that I do not agree with how some media outlets are presenting what happened in the choli. To mess around with someone doesn't seem like anything out of this world to me, but I precisely wanted to avoid getting too close to Rauw because I know what certain press and certain people are like in social networks," the singer wrote.

Bad Gyal has made it clear in said text that she did not want anyone to think that she was Rosalía's 'substitute' and that there could be something more than a professional and friendly relationship with Rauw Alejandro.

"I know that surely I would have been related to him in a different way when we are just friends and co-workers and I also know that an unnecessary controversy would have been generated. I am aware of this and I know that if I had fooled around with him being a person would have generated a lot of false gossip," he shared.

Finally, the singer wanted to make it clear that the Puerto Rican and his team were at all times very kind and professional with her and that she did not feel uncomfortable at all, as many defend on the Internet.

''I can only say that I am super grateful. The shows have been incredible. I hope that the media one day changes a little and learns that this sensationalist press only creates a lot more pressure on us artists,'' the young woman stated.
