Ana Obregón praises her granddaughter before the Alcobendas proclamation: "She is wonderful"

The presenter and actress Ana Obregón was the herald of the Virgen de la Paz festivities in Alcobendas, a Madrid municipality where she has resided for more than four decades. Before giving her speech, she was received by the town's mayor, Rocío García, and they took photos together. Furthermore, she did not hesitate to dedicate time to the press, sharing her happiness and speaking openly about the new stage of her life, marked by the arrival of her granddaughter, Ana Sandra.

The presenter revealed how she perceives her son Aless through the little girl, highlighting similarities in her laughter, sense of humor and height. "It has been so difficult for me to leave home... Also, do you know what happens? When she sees me with so much makeup on, she doesn't recognize me," Ana confessed, referring to the new routine that she shares with her granddaughter.

Ana Obregón was full of praise for her granddaughter: "She babbles, but she is wonderful. She has a sense of humor, she laughs all day, she is a happy girl, she has the same sense of humor and laughter as Aless and she looks like to his father very much." Regarding her love life, she was focused on the role of her grandmother and mother, stating that she does not have time for love.

"I wouldn't fall in love again, I don't have time. I'm playing mom, dad, grandfather, grandmother. I don't have time," declared the actress, prioritizing her dedication to little Ana Sandra.

In Ana Obregón's return to her hometown, emotion, motherhood and connection with her audience have been the protagonists. Her red dress not only symbolized the rebirth of a period marked by mourning, but also the celebration of life and the arrival of a new generation to the family.

“They say that the true homeland of the human being is his childhood. And if there is a place where I have been, and I am happy, it is Alcobendas. I have lived here for more than forty years and here I have experienced moments that I will never be able to forget. Alcobendas is the city to which my father dedicated many years of his work, more than half his life. A dedication that culminated last March when the Alcobendas City Council gave its name to a street in La Moraleja. If until then I felt like I was from Alcobenda by adoption, from that day on I am also from Alcobenda at heart,” said Obregón.

“The festivities of the Virgin of Peace in Alcobendas are an example that evolution is not at odds with custom. That the increase in population is not the enemy of traditions. That getting on the avant-garde train does not mean getting off the roots wagon. Alcobendas is a city, allow me to say it with pride, that also has a woman's name. Because Alcobendas has in its city council the first female mayor in its history and also her patron saint as perpetual mayor," she concluded.
