All the details of the return of 'Password': guests, schedule and mechanics of the contest

Television returns are the order of the day and the list of programs from the past that will be broadcast again in the middle of 2023 is getting longer. In this regard, the formats that have the most prominence are entertainment programs and contests, such as Operación Triunfo, Me resbala, Allá tú or the Grand Prix del Verano.

All the channels and communication groups have joined this dynamic of recovering old glories of television, with Mediaset at the forefront in full renovation of the Telecinco grid. However, its rival group, Atresmedia, could not be less and has taken over one of the star formats at the beginning of Cuatro: Password.

The contest that Luján Argüelles originally presented and that left moments for posterity such as the well-known 'April, Cerral' by Elena Furiase returns with a renewed image and team. This time Cristina Pedroche is in charge of conducting the new Password, which makes the leap to Antena 3 in its new stage, 13 years after its last broadcast and produced by Fremantle.

The mechanics of the program continue to be the same as it came to television in 2008: guess the words, concepts or even gestures that each contestant will carry out. Password will be divided into two games with two participants for each of them, and a final test or super game where up to 20,000 euros will be put at stake.

If there are no changes during the next installments, the program will be broadcast every Friday in prime time on Antena 3 throughout the summer. The premiere takes place this same July 28 at 10:00 p.m., competing with the arrival of La última noche on its main television rival, Telecinco.

Miki Nadal and Dabiz Muñoz, husband of Cristina Pedroche herself, will be the first two guests in this return of Password to the small screen. In addition, other well-known faces such as David Bustamante, Santiago Segura, Ana Milán, Antonio Resines, Chenoa or Lorena Castell, among many others, will pass through the contest.
