A single man goes to 'First Dates' with a Bible and completely throws his date off: ''I didn't leave dinner out of politeness''

During the month of love, First Dates viewers have been able to enjoy peculiar dates between different diners, who came to Cuatro's space with the intention of having a pleasant time. However, the format team is finalizing all the details of its most special program, Valentine's Day, which will air next Wednesday on Telecinco.

Until then, Cupid has continued shooting his arrows of love at all those diners who crossed the doors of the most famous restaurant on the small screen. But he often does not achieve the desired effect. This was the case of Noralba and Heriberto. The 58-year-old single woman defined herself as a religious woman. ''I meet God in a very close relationship,'' she declared.

Such was her devotion to the Christian religion that the single woman came to the restaurant with two passages from the Bible. ''I'm looking for a happy, fun man who communicates,'' she confessed. Moments later, Carlos Sobera accompanied the single woman to her table, where she had to wait for her date.

Heriberto, a 67-year-old single man, arrived at the restaurant of love singing a song about God. The single man had been without a partner since 2004, but now he was willing to find love again. Before accompanying Heriberto to the table, Carlos Sobera recited to him the two passages from the Bible that Noralba had brought. Something that made the bachelor very excited, since he carried the Bible everywhere.

After learning about the bachelor's interests, Carlos Sobera introduced the couple, but Noralba was greatly disappointed. ''I was looking for the handsome guy and I didn't see him. That's not for me. I wanted to leave,'' the single woman joked as soon as she saw him. The evening began with Heribeldo confessing that he was very happy with the date and ensuring that in his dreams he had already met the single woman. ''He is a man of little expression,'' she commented.

At one point during dinner, Heribeldo decided to read several passages from the Bible to the single woman, leaving the single woman speechless. And Noralba couldn't connect with the bachelor, even though religion was her only point in common. So she was clear that nothing romantic was going to happen between them. ''I have not left the dinner out of politeness, and to do good with God because you have to treat a man of the church well,'' she declared.

Furthermore, the single woman insisted that Heribeldo had not met her expectations, because she needed a man with "another type of energy." In the final stretch of the evening, the singles opened up about their sexual tastes. ''For me, sex is something we shouldn't take so much. Sex is to procreate. In the end she gets sick,'' he commented. ''I don't see it that way,'' she said. Their differences had been so great that in the final decision there were no surprises and the single woman rejected Heribeldo.
