A legendary presenter of 'What we bet!', new contestant of 'Survivientes 2024'

Survivors 2024 continues to prepare behind the cameras, accumulating contestants who will travel to Honduras to survive on an uninhabited island. At the moment, the cast is made up of very complex personalities: from Arancha del Sol and Arkano, to Carmen Borrego and Miguel Ungría, through the recently announced Pedro García Aguado. However, another new face has joined the fray.

This is Rocío Madrid, one of the most recognized faces of Crónicas Marcianas on Telecinco and who in recent years has participated in multiple projects such as Tu Cara Me Suena. The actress has appeared by surprise on the set of TardeAR to surprise Xavier Sardà, collaborator of the magazine and presenter of the program that made her known, with whom she shared a relationship equivalent to a roller coaster.

Madrid herself claimed on the Telecinco set, after an effusive hug to her then main manager, that Supervivientes had tried to talk to her on multiple occasions, including the time when she participated in Crónicas Marcianas. The former employee considered her last call, believing that this time it was the right time. Ana Rosa Quintana has let it slip that she may have become Sardà's favorite contestant.

Beyond her participation in one of the most recognized spaces on Telecinco in the early 2000s, the Malaga actress explored her options on the small screen with several roles in series such as Amar en tiempo revueltos, Arrayán or Desconocidae. Likewise, she has also acted as a participant in different contests such as Me Resbala, and also presented programs on Cuatro such as Expedition Imposible.

This arrival joins one of the latest additions announced: Carmen Borrego, who has left a striking moment in Así es la vida, the program where María Teresa Campos' daughter collaborates. “I don't know if I can do it right or wrong, I'll come back the next day because at least I will have tried. For me, the important thing is not to disappoint myself,” she expressed, before meeting the surprise call from her husband, José Carlos.

“I am worried because I know the challenge she is going to face and the only thing I want is to give her a lot of encouragement, a lot of strength because she is capable and I know that she is going to put all her effort into it (…) the thought of How is the family, how are we all, if everything is in order. And everything will be fine, we will be supporting her and that is what worries me that at first she will be able to control that and if she is capable everything will be much easier,” she explained.
