For some time now, First Dates has become the ideal place for thousands of single men and women to try to find love within the four walls of the most famous restaurant on the small screen. On Tuesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners, who without a doubt left great moments to remember.
Two of the great stars of the night were Marc and Rocío. The 40-year-old bachelor arrived at the restaurant showing off his beauty. ''I see myself as an attractive guy, the first thing I do as soon as I wake up is shave and tell myself how handsome I am,'' he declared. Marc left the presenter speechless with the long list of his daily activities. ''I'm hyperactive,'' he said. One of his great passions was music, so the bachelor delighted the team with one of his great performances.
His date was going to be Rocío, a 36-year-old single woman, who confessed to only having friends. ''Men don't compete or criticize, that's why since I was little, all my friends have been men,'' she said. As soon as she crossed the doors of the restaurant, the bachelorette was going to get the first surprise of the night from Marc. And the bachelor began to perform one of her musical numbers under the watchful eye of Rocío. ''I did not expect. "I was shocked," she said.
But even though she had liked the detail, the single woman was disappointed as soon as she saw the bachelor. ''Physically I don't like it, I like that they are taller than me and more corpulent,'' she said. Marc had a very different feeling, and he seemed very happy with her. ''She is a very pretty girl, she has big eyes and perfect teeth,'' he commented.
The evening began with the singles commenting on their ages and talking about the nerves they had prior to the date. ''He seems like a person who makes you have a good time, you laugh with him,'' she stressed. Suddenly, the bachelor said that he had not been able to get his driving license, leaving the single woman speechless. ''My goodness, if we get to go out, are you going to take me on a bicycle?'' she said.
At one point during dinner, the couple discovered that neither of them had children for different reasons. Marc had not found the perfect woman for it and Rocío had not yet considered becoming a mother. In addition, the bachelor kept making jokes about a future relationship, to the misfortune of the single woman, who felt increasingly uncomfortable. ''I didn't even know what to say,'' she declared.
In the final stretch of the evening, the singles moved to the program's booth, where they enjoyed several fun moments and planned future meetings. But in the final decision, Rocío rejected the bachelor because she had not been able to feel any romantic chemistry.
