A bachelor from 'First Dates' makes his date uncomfortable with a surprising proposal: ''It's going to be that not''

The most popular dating space on the small screen opened its doors one more day. On Thursday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners, who showed up to First Dates with different life purposes. There are many who seek to find first love, some to start a family and others, on the other hand, to fight against one of the great problems facing today's society, loneliness.

One of the dates of the night was the one starring Angelino and Lali. The 75-year-old bachelor from Albacete arrived at the restaurant claiming to be a very spiritual person and not at all religious. He had been single since 1992 and was now willing to find a supportive, spiritual and sincere woman. ''The greatest thing a man can have is a good companion,'' he declared.

His date was going to be Lali, a 69-year-old single woman from Murcia, very youthful and open to everything. ''I like to dress fashionably and I like to go out,'' she said. But despite the great attitude with which she entered, the single woman had a stumble as soon as she crossed the doors of the restaurant. And the single woman was about to fall to the ground after a small trip. ''We're going to have to remove that rug,'' the presenter said. ''I saw you almost landing,'' Matías Roure stressed.

The first impression among the singles was quite good. ''I liked his physique,'' she commented. After learning about their places of residence, Carlos Sobera accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening by catching up on their lives. The bachelor said that he had been divorced for more than three decades and had no children. ''It surprises me,'' she said.

However, they both agreed that they were tired of being alone, despite having the company of a pet. Additionally, the single woman explained that her 21-year-old daughter had been the reason for her participation in the program because she did not want her to be alone. ''Loneliness is very sad and alone you don't feel like going anywhere,'' she asserted. ''She can see that she is a good woman,'' he confessed.

At one point during the evening, the singles tried to guess their ages, but neither of them was right. And the fact is that both of them were very well preserved, despite certain vices, such as tobacco. ''If we come to something, which I think we will, you will see how we will stop smoking if we both have the desire to quit,'' the bachelor expressed.

The date was progressing and the two seemed to be getting along in different aspects of life. However, the situation became somewhat tense when the bachelor bragged about her property and encouraged the single woman to move into her home. ''You have to see that, you're going to like it,'' he commented. ''I thought he was a good person, but about going to live with him... It's going to be no,'' she said.

In the final stretch of the evening, the singles opened up about their first impressions and confessed their desire to continue getting to know each other. Therefore, there were no surprises in the final decision and they both left the restaurant hand in hand.
