4 ways to wear a silk scarf with grace

Not everyone dares to wear a silk scarf, generally, because it is an accessory that intimidates many people as it is so linked to an elegant and sophisticated look. That is, at first glance, it doesn't seem easy to combine. But the reality is very different, since there are many ways to integrate it into the design of a look. You simply have to know how to get along with colors. For example, darker shades will serve to stylize the face and will work with natural makeup. On the other hand, light or bright colors will make the face look brighter.

The possibilities are more than numerous, especially when it comes to how to style the scarf. That is, how to carry it, since there is no single way. Although the image that is usually in mind is the classic one tied at the side, there are also other ways to wear a silk scarf.

The most traditional technique of wearing a silk scarf consists of tying it around the neck and tilting it. To do this, with the fabric stretched in front of the neck, its ends will be passed around it from behind until they end again in front. Next, one of them will be introduced from the front and both ends will be knotted. All that remains is to place it well on one side of the neck.

Another simpler way, and with a casual air, has to do with simply passing the silk scarf around the back of the neck so that both ends are resting on the chest area. In this case it will be better to opt for prints over solid colors.

A slightly different alternative to the previous one would be to fold the scarf in half in a triangular shape. Then the ends will be tied at the back of the neck, so that, in front, only a V shape will remain.

Another way to give it a more interesting touch begins by placing the scarf, again in a triangular shape, behind the neck and with the ends passing over the shoulders and sitting on the chest. Next, all you have to do is tie the silk scarf in the center twice. It is important that it is not tight around the neck, but rather loose.

In addition to placing them in the neck area, silk scarves can be integrated into the look in many other ways. From as a scrunchie or covering the hair, to knotted in the bag or even other garments and accessories that are part of the outfit.
