Wannaai: decorate the home with artificial intelligence

When Martí Segundo started looking for paintings to decorate the apartment he had just bought, he found that few were to his liking and the ones he did like were too expensive for his pocket. Segundo explains that he knew artificial intelligence platforms that transform text into images and told his friend David García about it. As a result of this conversation, the idea of founding Wannaai was born, a startup that sells paintings conceived by designers who use artificial intelligence to devise their creations. The founding trio is completed by another friend: José Gorchs.

The platform, which owes its name to the Anglo-Saxon word wanna and the abbreviation for artificial intelligence in English (AI), has been operational for half a year. In it you can find everything from urban and landscape paintings to vintage, colorful, sensual works or related to the world of motors, wildlife and sports. Prices range between 25 euros and 270 euros, depending on the size and finish selected, and delivery times are fast, between five and seven business days. The startup also allows clients to participate in the creative process, customizing elements of each painting to obtain results adapted to their specific tastes. Prints are made on demand.

Based in Sant Just Desvern, Wannaai has required an initial investment of 10,000 euros contributed by the founding partners. The forecast for 2024, which will be the first full year, is to reach a turnover of 30,000 euros.
