The seventh edition of the CTB Cross Duathlon 'Ciudad de Elche', a competition that will be held on November 19, hopes to bring together more than 300 athletes, as announced this Monday by the organization of the event.
The Sports Councilor of the Elche City Council, José Navarro, and the president of the Elche Triathlon Club, Manuel Baeza, organizer of the event, have presented the test, which will have its start and finish at the Paseo de la Estación.
The competition will start at 10:00 a.m., with a five-kilometer run on foot, another 20 by bicycle along the slope, the municipal park, the reservoir or the climb to the Cau, and a third section three kilometers, again running, through the historic center.
The test will have, as in previous years, individual and relay modes and there will be medals for all participants.
The winner of this competition will be the regional representative in the next Spanish championship.
“We are facing a benchmark test in the Valencian Community and the only one that has survived over time,” said Manuel Baeza.
