The powerful electric hypercar of almost 2,000 CV that does not need a windshield

More and more brands are fully entering the field of electric cars, taking into account both the growing interest of many drivers and the European regulations for the year 2035 (the year in which electric cars will no longer be sold in the EU). with a combustion engine, with some very specific exceptions).

The Italian firm Pininfarina has wanted to mark a milestone with its latest novelty with the presentation of an impressive convertible hypercar that is ranked as the most expensive electric car in the world. Baptized as B95, this exclusive handcrafted vehicle will have a price of 4.4 million euros and will be limited to only 10 units.

The spectacular B95 exemplifies a retro-futuristic style by combining classic proportions and details based on the brand's tradition with the latest technological innovations. The "B" refers to the barchetta body and, in this sense, it should be noted that it is the first electric sports car in history with this type of body.

For its part, the number 95 refers to the anniversary that Pininfarina will celebrate in 2025, the year in which the launch of the ten extraordinary examples of this model will officially take place. Packed with sleek, muscular lines, the body is finished in a brilliant Bronzo Superga gray paint with gold-tone metallic accents and patches of carbon black, the color also used for the forged aluminum wheels.

One of the factors that most attracts the attention of the vehicle is that the Italian firm has opted not to install a windshield. Instead, the B95 is equipped with electronically adjustable aerodynamic screens inspired by old combat aviation. Some transparent polycarbonate panels, coupled to aluminum supports, go up or down according to the driver's preferences at all times.

Pininfarina says the screens ensure air is sent above the passengers without detracting from the car's minimalist design. As assured by the brand, this new patented technology allows you to enjoy the thrill of driving in the open but with comfort even at the high speeds that the B95 is capable of reaching.

The car has the same powertrain as the Pininfarina Battista Hyper GT, but with a few tweaks. Equipped with four electric motors (one at each wheel) that deliver no less than 1,900 HP of overall power, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and is capable of reaching a top speed of 300 km/h. .

It is equipped with a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be recharged from 20 to 80 percent in just 25 minutes and will have a range of around 500 km. In order to appreciate this extraordinary hypercar in greater detail, all you have to do is take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
