The Lamborghini Huracán that has gone viral for being immobilized in the heart of Madrid

Madrid has a new tourist attraction. A Lamborghini Huracán, valued between 250,000 and 300,000 euros and which stands out for its emerald green color and golden wheels, has been sealed on Paseo de la Castellana. The seal is a legal action that is applied to assets of people or entities that owe money to the public administration. Therefore, it cannot be moved and is available to anyone who wants to see it up close.

As can be seen in some publications on different social networks, this sports car has a seal on the driver's door that certifies its condition. The authority that has ordered this seal is the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS).

The reason behind this action, as confirmed by municipal sources, is that the owner of the vehicle, a company, owes significant amounts to Social Security in various Spanish provinces. As a result, the vehicle has been immobilized as part of an asset seizure process.

In this way, this emerald green sports car cannot be moved because it was subject to a seal by the Madrid Municipal Police. This procedure, which is not common, was carried out as a precautionary measure after receiving an order from the TGSS, due to debts accumulated by the company that owns the vehicle in several Spanish provinces.

When a vehicle is sealed, a sign or device is physically placed that prevents its use until the situation that led to this measure is resolved. Therefore, this process ensures that the seized assets remain available to be used as part of the debt settlement, if it is necessary to proceed with their sale or auction.

In this scenario, the Lamborghini cannot be driven or moved from its location on Paseo de la Castellana, near the Cuzco roundabout, until the debt with Social Security is settled or an agreement is reached for its resolution. That moment has not yet arrived.

On the other hand, a vehicle that is in a situation of embargo, which is the stage before the seal, can continue to be used daily, as long as it meets the legal requirements such as having valid insurance and an up-to-date MOT.
