The Department of Finance, Economy and Public Administration has acquired, for 4,655,207 euros, a plot belonging to the logistics area of Parc Sagunt II, property of Espacios Economicores Empresarial, to be used for the construction of the Integrated Vocational Training Center 'Battery Campus Sagunt '.
The training complex will be located on this plot, whose surface area is 21,600 square meters and which is located next to the future battery factory of the multinational PowerCo.
The construction of the training center will be carried out by the Generalitat Valenciana and will consist of two buildings, one of which will be an Integrated Vocational Training Center with various training cycles specialized in subjects related to the factory. The future ‘Battery Campus’ is planned to have a capacity for 400 students.
The expense involved in the acquisition of the property amounts to 4.6 million, thus exceeding three million, which is why the Treasury has had to report to the Consell for this acquisition, which is regulated in Law 14/2023 on Patrimony of the Generalitat. which establishes that acquisitions whose amount exceeds 3 million euros must be reported.
