The fun electric scooter that offers much more than it seems

The growing interest of many users in electric mobility alternatives for daily commuting is giving rise to the arrival and expansion of numerous firms from different segments. VoroMotors is one of them and one of its latest innovations is the Emove RoadRunner Pro, an electric scooter that offers benefits well above what it might seem from its appearance.

By design, it's more like a bike, but its features and performance make it clear that its potential goes far beyond that. The vehicle measures 1.44 m in length, 78 cm in width and 1.10 m in height, while its weight is 52 kg and it is capable of carrying a maximum load of 150 kg.

The RoadRunner Pro integrated 2 kW motors each housed respectively in each of the wheels. It should be noted that this power far exceeds that of the conventional RoadRunner model that the firm already has, which has a 350 W hub motor at the front and 500 W at the rear.

The RoadRunner Pro can reach a top speed of over 80 km/h and is capable of tackling uphill grades of up to 30 degrees. The motors are powered by a removable 60 V and 30 Ah LG battery that allows this electric scooter to achieve a range of more than 80 km per recharge.

For those who this range is not enough, it is possible to double it by using an additional battery, but this will mean increasing the weight of the scooter by 9.5 kg. In this case, it must be borne in mind that driving again after running out of batteries will take some time, since fully recharging both requires a little over 10 hours.

Among the improvements over the conventional RoadRunner stands out the fact that the saddle is longer and thicker. This measures 51 cm in length and 20 cm in width, while its thickness is 9 cm and it is filled with flexible memory foam, which aims to offer a high level of walking comfort.

In addition, said saddle is covered by a specific material resistant to wear and heat to guarantee greater durability. Continuing with the aspects aimed at obtaining a greater degree of comfort, we must highlight the vehicle's suspension system, designed to effectively absorb the irregularities of the road surface.

When it comes to stopping the scooter safely, hydraulic disc brakes will be in charge of doing so. The Emove RoadRunner Pro is priced at around 2,700 euros and the first deliveries will begin at the end of the first quarter of 2024. If you are interested in knowing the vehicle in more detail, you just have to take a look at the video that accompanies this article.
