The extraordinary 1.4 million supercar that will not go unnoticed

About a decade ago, the spectacular Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept came to light after being commissioned by the creators of the popular video game Gran Turismo to appear in its GT6 edition. While it was designed as a digital-only car specifically for the video game, it was eventually brought to life for the 2017 "Justice League" movie.

Well, that impressive car has never gone out of style and has now inspired the creation of an attractive limited-series supercar, which has been called Erebos X. This proposal is the result of the work of the prestigious specialists at Parker Brothers Concepts, an American company headed by two brothers (Shannon and Mark), famous for pushing the limits of design and engineering on all types of vehicles.

His most recent work is this modern, sleek and seriously eye-catching supercar that takes its name from the Greek mythology god Erebos, who represented darkness and shadows. With the latter in mind, you might expect the car to be black, but the Erebos X is mostly glossy grey. It only uses black for some areas of the body. Of course, its details in lime green do not go unnoticed.

Under its long hood is a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine that can deliver a power of no less than 835 hp at 7,000 rpm. Thanks to this mechanical marvel, the vehicle is capable of reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. Likewise, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, the Erebos X barely needs 3 seconds.

In terms of design, this extraordinary supercar is characterized by a highly aerodynamic silhouette. It is equipped with a large front grill and sharp headlights that give it an aggressive look. For its part, at the rear of the car its large spoiler and LED lighting attract attention.

This rear part is precisely the one that varies the most in the Erebos X with respect to the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo. And it is that, although the second had a rear inclined downwards, in the case of the creation of Parker Brothers Concepts the aesthetics changes considerably to make the previously mentioned spoiler the true protagonist of this area of the car.

Like the vehicle on which it is based, the Erebos X features gull-wing doors, a distinctive touch for style and exclusivity. Once through these doors, a two-seater cabin appears where the lime green tone floods almost everything. Not to be overlooked is the sports steering wheel, inspired by racing cars, or the center console, with its rounded control elements.

For its part, the door sills are finished in carbon fiber to add even more sportiness to the whole. As reported by its creators, only ten units of this exclusive supercar will be manufactured at a price that will start at almost 1.4 million euros. You can see it in greater detail in the video that accompanies this article.
