New Honda Jazz: from 26,400 euros, with 122 HP hybrid engine and ECO label from the DGT

The Honda Jazz is a practical utility vehicle with a minivan appearance that stands out, mainly, for the spaciousness of its cabin and its pleasant urban driving. It is the smallest and most affordable model from the Japanese manufacturer in Europe.

In our market it is available in a single conventional hybrid version, which cannot be plugged in, with 122 HP and the advantages of the DGT's ECO environmental label.

Due to its size, 4.09 meters in length, the usual quality of the interior and its hybrid technology, it is a somewhat atypical car on the market, with no direct rivals. And, seen from this point of view, this can be considered a good argument if we are looking for a different and certainly original vehicle with an urban character.

Honda also markets a variant called Crosstar that has an image close to what an SUV would be, thanks to the incorporation of plastic protections on the body and a higher ground clearance.

The current generation of the Jazz arrived on our market in 2020, but the brand, attentive to the evolution of the market, is now introducing a series of improvements in all its versions and the incorporation of a Sport variant with exclusive design details in the interior and on the outside.

The Advance version has a new grille and darkened optics and the front adopts a sportier appearance. In addition, the 16-inch alloy wheels are of a new design and new colors, materials and finishes are offered inside this Advance version.

For its part, the Sport version, more striking, is available in the exclusive Urban gray color and also incorporates a new front bumper design, a new lattice sports grille, gloss black exterior mirrors and exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Sport incorporates specific improvements that give a more sporty character, such as the seats with exclusive black synthetic suede and gray synthetic leather upholstery. Or the redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, center armrest and door panels that feature contrasting yellow stitching.

Honda, in addition to renewing its entire range of automobiles in Europe, is immersed in the total electrification of its models. It does so with different technologies and in the case of the Jazz it opts for hybrid technology that also receives improvements.

The hybrid system of the latest generation Jazz e:HEV consists of two electric motors (generator and impeller), a fuel-efficient gasoline engine, a fixed transmission and three intelligent driving modes that offer high levels of efficiency.

The updates introduced have improved efficiency, maneuverability and power. The electric motor now has 14 HP more, giving the Jazz a total power of 122 HP with 253 Nm of electric propulsion torque.

Honda's hybrid system produces CO2 emissions of only 104 g/km in the Advance version, while in the Sport version this value is 106 g/km.

And in response to customer demands, the new Jazz has a higher towing capacity: up to 500 kg for small trailers or bicycle racks.

The Jazz has surprising roominess if we take into account its dimensions. This quality, well known and appreciated by its users, is complemented by the versatility of the multi-configurable Honda Magic Seat seats, which fold down for the transport of objects.

And to complete the safety and driving assistance devices, the new Jazz now includes a high-definition and wider camera that allows an improved view of the exterior of the vehicle. And it better recognizes limits and road markings.

Likewise, the traffic jam assist function has been revised so that it is now activated from 0 km/h. In addition, it reduces the effort that must be made behind the wheel when driving in traffic conditions and reinforces protection in the event of an accident.

The new Jazz e:HEV range is now available in the Spanish market through the official Honda dealer network. The prices provided by the brand are: Jazz 1.5 i-MMD Advance (26,400 euros) and Jazz 1.5 i-MMD Sport (27,950 euros). Prices financed through Honda Bank.
