The executive board of the youth lobby Lideremos met this Thursday with the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez Almeida, to present his proposed law MORE Mental Health, so that mental health care is a priority, and the document Less Bureaucracy , to reduce bureaucracy and promote entrepreneurship.
The president of Lideremos, Tomàs Güell, and the person in charge of Lideremos Madrid, Paloma Martín, attended the meeting with the mayor. Also present were the vice presidents of Lideremos, Xavi Garcia Tort, Adriana Puig, Manuel Tamariz and Alba Sanz.
Almeida has received the proposed MORE Mental Health law, which seeks to establish "innovative systems to prioritize mental health care and guarantee that each individual has agile and effective access to resources and psychological support when the citizen needs it."
"This proposed More Mental Health law arises in response to the growing need to address the challenges related to mental health in our society," says Tomàs Güell, founder and president of Lideremos.
Almeida has also received the Less Bureaucracy document, which provides solutions in fields such as regulatory unification or administrative public procurement. It is the first lobbying action by Lideremos, also presented last September before the president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi and the president of Naturgy, Francisco Reynés, as well as the general secretary of UGT, Pepe Alvarez.
