The Mossos d'Esquadra have denounced a trucker from Tarragona for multiplying the maximum allowed alcohol rate by six. The driver was circulating last Sunday afternoon doing eses on the AP-7, as it passed through Tarragona.
A witness alerted the police, who ended up stopping the vehicle. The 57-year-old man gave 0.92 mg/l in the breathalyzer test, when the maximum established for professionals is 0.15 mg/l.
The incident occurred in the middle of the return operation from Easter, when traffic on Catalan roads is especially intense.
