The Nasdaq has been in this phase for weeks, the first to be dragged down by the uncertainty derived from galloping inflation, the rise in interest rates and the reallocation of assets by investors in the face of the new global map of risks.

The technology index has already dropped 29% since mid-November. Yesterday, to close a terrible week, it lost 3% –it ended up losing only 0.3%–, given the certainty that the Federal Reserve will not shake its pulse with the interest rate hikes. The correction, after years of endless increases, is considerable and, according to many experts, even necessary due to the height at which the prices of many shares had reached.

Finally, resist the Dow Jones. It only loses 15% from the highs of January 4. There is little doubt in the market that it will be the next to fall in a country where the specter of a recession is increasingly looming.
