Vox has refused this Monday to participate in the municipal observatories of violence against women and against Lgtbiphobia of the Madrid City Council for being "ideological beach bars".
As reported through a press release by the Vox Municipal Group, "this party has refused to appoint a member to participate in these observatories", since they consider that they are "mere ideological beach bars at the service of gender ideology and the powerful Lgtbi lobbies to which, once again, Mayor Almeida gives in”.
Vox remarked that "only the violence that affects the victims chosen and instrumentalized by the left, which are women and Lgtbi people, is made visible", in opposition to the ideas defended by this party that claimed to want "a Madrid with equality, where all violence matters" because all people "are equal and have the same dignity".
The Vox Municipal Group closed the press release defending that "all victims are equally important regardless of the sex or sexual orientation of the victim or the aggressor."
