Vicky Martín Berrocal's wish upon seeing her daughter with her grandfather Manuel Benítez "El Cordobés"

Manuel Díaz "El Cordobés" said goodbye to the arena last Sunday, October 15 in Jaén. A farewell to more than three decades of successful career, and one that he did not do alone, since he was very well supported by his family and thousands of his followers, who did not want to miss any detail of that emotional moment.

Along with the right-hander, his wife, Virginia Troconis, and his three children: Manuel, Triana and Alba, the first-born, the result of his marriage to Vicky Martín Berrocal. It was precisely the designer's daughter who became one of the protagonists of the afternoon, as she demonstrated to have a loving and very close relationship with her paternal grandfather, Manuel Benítez, with whom her father definitively reconciled ago. just a few months.

A relationship between the two that fills her mother with happiness, who could not help but comment on how delighted she was that her daughter enjoyed the presence of her paternal grandfather. However, she also took the opportunity to share a deep desire, which she could not help but have when she saw the images of both of them together in the box at the bullring in Jaén.

"I look at this image and cry with happiness," said the designer in her Instagram Stories, sharing one of the photos she was receiving from the afternoon in the capital of Jaen. However, seeing them together only revealed one reality: "I can only remember my father."

"How happy he would have been sitting there, living that moment on the other side of his granddaughter Alba and his great friend," sighed the designer, who added that that would have given her even greater happiness: "and how happy I would be to see her with his two grandparents."

The Huelva woman's father, José Luis Martín Berrocal, was a prosperous Andalusian businessman, known mainly for his livestock businesses and relations with the world of bullfighting. The designer also met Manuel Benítez when she was the girlfriend of her son, and the relationship between father and son was non-existent. "He came home one day with my father while I was talking on the cell phone with Manuel Jr., I was shocked," she revealed a few months ago in an interview in El Hormiguero.

Hours before her daughter's father said goodbye to the arena, the designer wanted to celebrate that moment by writing him a letter in which she made it clear that, although not present in the box, she was with him on this important day in his life.

Also through his Stories, he shared some emotional lines on Instagram that demonstrated the good and close relationship that the former couple has maintained over the years.

"Today is not just another day in your life, and that is why it is not in mine," the designer begins by writing, praising Manuel Díaz's three decades in bullfighting rings. "Today you say goodbye to a stage that gave you everything you are and, knowing you, I know it won't be easy for you," she says, although she admits that she is happy for everyone around the right-hander.

"It fills me with emotion to know that you are surrounded by those you love most and that you have your father with you," insists the designer, "Go easy, Manuel. You have given everything and more."
