Two repeat offenders who operated in the province of Girona and who had accumulated more than 40 arrests and judicial sentences have been expelled from Spain, as reported today by the National Police.

The criminals resided irregularly in the province and after their arrest were deported by the Central Expulsion and Repatriation Unit.

The Local Police of Banyoles informed the Agents of the Foreigners Operational Group of the National Police of the Girona Police Station that a citizen who was in an irregular situation had accumulated several judicial sentences and a total of 35 police arrests.

The arrest was carried out by the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Local Police of Banyoles, who proceeded to admit him to the Barcelona Foreigners Detention Center to carry out the Expulsion Order.

Subsequently, another foreign citizen was arrested and accused of multiple arrests, including a sexual assault in Girona.

The arrest was carried out in accordance with the Immigration Law, causing social alarm in Banyoles and Girona due to its multiple recidivism and judicial convictions.
