The National Police have arrested two men for allegedly running over another man with whom they had previously argued in the Central district of Madrid and who suffered a head injury.

The events took place around six in the morning last Wednesday at the Puerta de Toledo roundabout, where the agents found the victim, a Spaniard of about 30 years old, lying on the ground and bleeding profusely.

According to police sources, after having an argument for reasons that are still being investigated, the arrested people got into his car and ran him over.

According to the victim's statement, they also threatened him with a knife.

The two involved, a Brazilian and a Spaniard, both about 26 years old, quickly fled the scene, but were located nearby and arrested as alleged perpetrators of crimes of threats and damage.

Due to the impact, the victim suffered a head injury for which he had to be treated by the Samur-Civil Protection paramedics and transferred with a potentially serious prognosis to the 12 de Octubre Hospital. Apparently, the three involved had had a fight when leaving a nightclub in the area.
