Two protests on Diagonal Avenue and Ronda de Dalt called to celebrate International Women's Day have complicated traffic in Barcelona since the early hours of this Friday, during rush hour for entering and leaving the city.
The cuts have occurred on Diagonal Avenue, at the height of Doctor Marañón Avenue, in both directions of the march, while in the Ronda de Dalt the protest has cut this road at the height of Karl Marx Square, in the opposite direction. Llobregat, as reported by the Urban Police.
Police officers have gone to the site of the protests to talk with the protesters and try to get them to allow the vehicles to pass, which form long queues at the affected points.
The circulation of vehicles has been restored around 8.15 a.m. in Ronda de Dalt at Karl Marx Square and on Diagonal Avenue at Doctor Marañón Avenue after two protests, the Urban Police reported in 'X' .
In Barcelona, at 6:30 p.m., a demonstration called by L'Assemblea 8M is scheduled from Passeig de Gràcia to Avenida Diagonal, and at 12:00 p.m. two marches called by the Union of Students of the Catalan Countries (Sepc).
