Two armed robbers enter Carvajal's chalet but flee after being detected

The list of robberies and attacks on footballers has been about to add a new victim, Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal, who has had more luck than Barça striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Two armed hooded men with iron bars entered the plot of the chalet that the footballer has in Madrid at dawn on Saturday but, finally, they were unable to steal anything thanks to the alarm and security systems.

The robbery, as police sources have confirmed to Europa Press, occurred around 2 a.m. on the 30th. At that time neither the Madrid player nor his family was at home, but service personnel who called the security guards which, in turn, alerted the Civil Guard. The voice of alarm occurred almost at the same time that the infrared cameras detected the presence of the two intruders when they jumped the fence and entered the garden area.

Upon the arrival of the agents, the alleged thieves had already left without taking anything when they noticed that the cameras had caught them. When reviewing them, as El Confidencial has advanced this Thursday, they corroborated what happened in the presence of the soccer player, who reported the events the next day to the Boadilla Civil Guard barracks, initiating an investigation into what happened. At the moment, there are no arrests.
