Where is human civilization headed? What is the goal of life? What happens when two lovers find themselves alone on a desert island? These are some of the reflections that the Belgian company Peeping Tom conveys to the viewer with its new Triptych trilogy, made up of the choreographies that it created for the Nederlands Dans Theater The missing door, The lost room and The hidden floor, which arrive today at the TNC and They can be enjoyed until next November 20.

Under the direction of Gabriela Carrizo and Franck Chartier, the show aims to immerse the public in a mysterious two-hour journey through the world of dreams and where the characters will try to create a new version of reality. In the company's words: "a labyrinthine journey through the corridors of memory, where time and premonition revolve around illusions, utopias and love".

This journey begins inside a ship that contains many doors and corridors (The missing door), like the pure image of a labyrinth, and takes place inside one of the ship's rooms (The lost room) until an accident occurs ten years later, due to natural disasters, and the ship's passengers are forced to survive adrift (The hidden floor). From here, a passionate romantic story arises between two of the survivors, who will fight for their destiny. In this way, the boat is a symbol of immigration and escape to a better place.

Dance is also one of the protagonists and comes to life in a bleak and survival context in which "thanks to love, perhaps you can survive," says director Franck Chartier. Likewise, the technique is fundamental in the staging, which combines with the small details achieving a touch of quality from the cinematographic point of view.
