This affirmation occurs after the arrest of the son of a member of the PP who attended the municipal elections on the list led by Xavier Garcia Albiol and with whom he even collaborated as an adviser. The detainee expressly stated to the police that his father was a member of the PP.
Christian Carneado, Councilor for Government and Security of the Badalona City Council, assures that the latest incidents related to the burning of containers have "a certain degree of coordination and organization," he told TV3. The intention, according to the head of security "is to create a climate of fictitious insecurity" with a clear electoral purpose, since one of the main arguments of Xavier Garcia Albiol on his social networks is insecurity.
The councilor of the PP, Daniel Gracia, has replied that "we are absolutely responsible for our collaborators" and he is convinced that "no son or collaborator of those we have participates in the burning of containers" he declared to the Catalan chain.
